We are Scotland's largest disability organisation, providing a broad range of services to adults and children with disabilities. We value and benefit from skills and knowledge volunteers bring to the organisation and in return we aim to ensure that volunteering with Capability Scotland is a positive experience. All money raised in Scotland stays in Scotland. We provide educational units, residential units and day centres. We also have an advice service (ASC's). If any further information about Capability Scotland is required contact the main Edinburgh Address.
We collect around £160,000 from our well known purple bear collection cans that are placed in local shops all over the country. We currently have collection cans in your area that need emptying on a regular basis and we are looking for more volunteers to help us to continue raising funds in this way and to increase the amount of collection cans in their area where possible. We would be delighted to hear from you if you would consider joining our team. If you can drive and spare 1 or 2 days each week you could help us to achieve our vision and mission of supporting disabled people in Scotland to achieved full equality and to have choice and control over their lives.
