About Royal Voluntary Service

To help people maintain independence and dignity in their homes and communities particularly in later life.

About Opportunity

Our volunteers would listen carefully taking a note of what the older person needs and would like to happen. They would work closely with the Service Manager and other volunteers to tailor our services to meet the older persons needs whilst using available resources to signpost to other organisations that may help. The volunteer would meet the older person again to explain the activities, services or support offered to them with regular reviewing and revisiting as the older person requires.
