To help people maintain independence and dignity in their homes and communities particularly in later life.
You will help older people in your area by supporting the local RVS community hub. Some key tasks would include:
• Answer telephones, take messages and deal with general duties
• Meet and greet visitors to the community hub office
• Enter data into spreadsheets and databases
• Organise mailouts to volunteers
• General clerical duties including photocopying, mailing and filing

Experience in basic administration, good communication skills, organisational skills and be able to use computer packages including databases and spread sheets. Be friendly and approachable. Be willing to learn.

Relevant training for the role will be provided by the Royal Voluntary Service. Training will be delivered face-to-face / online learning.
