Spring Funding Surgery

Tuesday 25 April 2017, 10.00am – 1.00pm, STRiVE’s office at 56 High Street, Tranent, EH33 1HH. 

We’re holding a Funding Surgery at our Tranent office on Tuesday 25 April from 10am until 1pm.
Twenty minute slots will be available with The Challenge Fund and Tyne Esk LEADER.  We have a limited number of appointments so book yours now!

If you are looking to fund a project or idea this is an ideal opportunity for you to come along and meet a potential funder face to face.

Funder Profiles

LEADER is an EU rural development fund. Tyne Esk LEADER covers East and Midlothian is all but the urban centres of Musselburgh and Dalkeith. It is open to community groups, thirds sector organisations, charities, social enterprises, rural businesses and farms. Our aims are to support local communities, business growth and protect the natural and built environment. If you have a project which would hit one or more of these aims, please get in touch.

Our minimum grant is £10,000 and maximum £200,000, with a 60% intervention rate. Our submission dates are quarterly.

Challenge Fund – East Lothian
East Lothian Council are seeking proposals from eligible organisations that have funds available to match with ESF funds and to join the Employability Pipeline. The Council has been approved to administer a local Challenge Fund which will take forward projects to support the strategic employability skills pipeline. The Challenge Fund is open to Third Sector organisations for projects which assist in mitigating the impacts of inequalities and actively target those clients who are furthest from the labour market. Your clients should face a particularly challenging combination of barriers to employment (2 or more), particularly those in rural areas and areas of deprivation.

The Challenge Fund is open for applications and the deadline is 4pm on 12 May 2017.
